Meet The Team

Abdullah Ahmad

Abdullah serves as CEO of Provision Capital.  He has a B.B.A. in Accounting from Hofstra University. From an early age, Abdullah has been around real estate investment his entire life through his family and mentors who collectively have over a hundred years of experience. They have time and again proved their strengths in real estate acquisition.  Abdullah’s hands on experience started humbly in 2003 when he would do odd jobs for his employer’s real estate projects.  Although he learned quite a bit, he first started working on real estate acquisitions in 2009 while in New York.  In 2012, he identified the up and coming market that is Dallas and moved down.  He also worked as a real estate, private equity, and hedge fund accountant for KPMG and PWC.

Mahmood Usmani

Mahmood serves as Chief Operating Officer of Provision Capital. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Economics and Corporate Strategy.  After graduation, he moved to New York City and worked several years in management consulting focusing on redesigning processes at the nation's leading hospitals.  Mahmood then went to lead business development at a venture backed healthcare tech start-up.  In his free time Mahmood enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife.

Syed Rasool

Syed is a native New Yorker and young professional committed to using finance as a tool of community empowerment.  He is currently acting as the Chief Financial Officer for Provision Capital. Previously, he served as business operations consultant for the first micro-equity fund in Jordan, the Ruwwad Micro-Venture Fund (RMVF). He has also worked as a tax consultant/accountant for private equity and hedge fund clients at Ernst & Young, LLP. Syed holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Arts (BA) in Political Science with High Departmental Honors with a concentration in Middle East and Central Asian Studies from Hofstra University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed to practice in the State of New York. He is fluent in Urdu/Hindi and is proficient in Arabic.

Obair

Obair serves as Provision Capital’s general counsel.  He advises on all legal matters pertaining to Provision Capital, Rent Ready Homes, partnership agreements,  and individual properties. Obair also handles compliance with SEC regulations.
